Inside, the attention to detail is no different, with birch plywood walls. For such a compact design, there's a surprising amount of storage. A wall of storage includes overhead and under-counter storage in the kitchenette, space for a bar fridge, microwave and pantry space as well as space to hang and store clothes.
A surprising pop of bright yellow in the bathroom feels like a burst of sunshine. The unique acute-angled bathroom is space-efficient, tucking a shower into the corner, and helps the covered outdoor area feel more inviting.
There are three standard YrdPods, L+, M and S+. The L+ which has 19 square metres of internal space plus a covered outdoor space. It includes a kitchenette, bathroom and storage space, perfect for a secondary dwelling for independent living. At the of the scale is the compact S+ with a footprint of just 3.2 x 3.8 metres.
