Brooke Aitken Design

Brooke Aitken Design is an integrated architectural and interior design practice in Ultimo, Sydney, founded in late 2004 by director and principal Brooke Aitken, a registered architect and interior designer. The practice designs and delivers projects holistically, working "from the external-in and the internal-out" to remove the traditional divide between architecture and interiors and keep one unified vision from concept to completion.

While it specialises in mid to high-end residential architecture and design, it also welcomes a diverse range of projects, with experience across retail, hospitality, medical and institutional work. Its ethos carries strong architectural concepts right through to the detail of the interiors, and its work has been published in books and journals including Belle, Australian House & Garden and Grand Designs Australia.

On Lunchbox, Greenwich Liner revives a P&O-style Art Deco home on Sydney's Lower North Shore, turning a deceased estate into a family home that balances period glamour, from curved walls to steel-framed windows, with contemporary function.
