Cameron Anderson Architects
Cameron Anderson Architects (CAARCH) is a regional architecture and design studio based in Mudgee, New South Wales, founded in 2011 with a strong focus on innovation and sustainable design. The team of architects and interior designers also has staff in Orange, Wagga and Wollongong, and they're well tuned to regional building conditions while working all over Australia. Their process centres on collaboration and "the desire to question conventional models", with careful contextual analysis and close attention to budgets. As they put it, "We love working with good people, all over Australia."
On Lunchbox, Kavillo Studios sits on a hillside near Mudgee and was brought to life with sculptor Michael Ferris. These small off-grid studios, with sculptural roofs and rammed earth walls, feel like camping, if the tent were a sculpture and the campsite were made of earth and steel. Passive solar design, solar power and rainwater harvesting let them sit lightly in the landscape.

Sculptural Roofs and Rammed Earth Walls Define this Bold Design
Rammed earth, solar power, and handcrafted details create a unique retreat where the design feels at home in the landscape.
