Lara Ette Design

Lara Ette Design + Decoration is a boutique interior design studio in Sydney, founded in 2016 by interior designer Lara Ette. It has since built a strong portfolio of residences across Sydney, with modern contemporary designs that feel "assured and familiar" and are made to last. The studio's purpose is to help clients create homes that are nurturing and restorative, and that inspire growth and positive change.

Lara's passion is creating interiors that spark joy, "make the normal special" and bring people together. She believes design solutions must evolve and last, and her work rests on understanding people and how they want to live, guiding clients through their own design journey.

On Lunchbox, Waverley House is Lara's former family home on Gadigal Country, a brutalist house of concrete walls and floor-to-ceiling glass. Through careful cabinetry, curated furnishings and vibrant landscaping, it became an expression of her design ethos.
