Adrian Amore Architects

Adrian Amore Architects is a Melbourne practice led by Adrian Amore, a University of Melbourne architecture graduate who is registered with the Architects Registration Board of Victoria, a member of the Australian Institute of Architects and has more than 20 years in the profession. The practice sees architecture as a generator of emotional experience, exploring how "movement, light, material, boundary and sequence can be orchestrated to shape the way space is perceived, inhabited and remembered."

On Lunchbox, Loft Apartment West Melbourne is a luxurious loft in a former butter factory, full of organic, milky-white curves that look as if they were carved from butter. As the day goes on, light and shadow move across the curved surfaces, and a sculptural stair twists up to a roof deck overlooking the city. The Loft Apartment won the Premier Award at the 2014 Australian Interior Design Awards.

Butter Factory Loft: Walls So Curvaceous They Could Be Cut From Butter

This luxurious loft apartment is full of organic curves that could be carved from butter - appropriate because it occupies space in a former butter factory.
