Adriano Pupilli Architects

Adriano Pupilli Architects is an architecture and design practice working on Gayamaygal Land in Manly, on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Their work spans homes and interiors as well as public projects, including several surf life saving clubs along the coast. In their words, "We create thoughtful places that connect with their context, strengthen their communities, and bring inspiration and belonging for the people who call them home." Two of their houses, Casa Manyana and Ghost Gum House, were shortlisted in the 2026 Houses Awards.

On Lunchbox, The Hacienda breathes new life into an unrenovated 42-square-metre 1930s art deco apartment in Manly, keeping as much of the original structure and character as possible while finding room for a young couple to relax, play and work. Petersham Courtyard House puts a modest budget into rebuilding the back of a narrow terrace in Sydney's inner west, drawing green views, sunlight and cooling breezes into everyday living spaces.
