AM Architecture

AM Architecture is an architecture and interiors practice in Prahran, Melbourne. On Lunchbox, North Fitzroy House adds a new rear extension to a terrace house in an important North Fitzroy street. Rather than mimic the heritage home, the response is unashamedly modern, with crisp lines and contrasting black and white, a double-height void and a mezzanine. Old and new still hang together, because the extension reuses materials and colours from the original house in modern ways.
