Anthony Gill Architects is a Sydney practice based in Surry Hills, and its website is a portfolio of carefully made homes, including Darlinghurst House and Clifton House in North Bondi. Clifton House won the Residential Architecture – Houses (New) award at the 2024 NSW Architecture Awards, and was commended in the 2025 Houses Awards and Australian Interior Design Awards.
On Lunchbox, Potts Point Apartment shows how much can be done with very little. The architect's own family home, it's a one-bedroom flat of just 36 square metres in one of Harry Seidler's modernist apartment blocks. On a budget of less than $50,000, the renovation created a separate bedroom for their young daughter, more living space and a clever answer to their storage woes, with plywood joinery and bookshelves lining the living area.
