Atlas Architects
Atlas Architects is a Melbourne design studio led by director Aaron Neighbour, a registered architect in Victoria, South Australia and Queensland and a Certified Passive House Designer. Their motto is "Sustainable. Innovative. Practical. Architecture.", and their vision is "Raising living standard through sustainable, innovative and practical architecture for our community", with a strong focus on the relationship between client and architect.
They have four homes on Lunchbox. Brodecky House lets a downsizer stay in the Bentleigh neighbourhood she loves by building a new three-bedroom home in the backyard of her corner block. Coleman Residence gently reworks a Victorian terrace in Fitzroy North with a sentimental history. Seascape is a small, sustainable home in Balnarring on the Mornington Peninsula, on a block the owners had known for decades. And The Nest in Inverloch replaces a tired fibro shack with a family retreat whose upstairs living area feels like a grown-up treehouse.
See Brodecky House, Coleman Residence and more of their work on Lunchbox below.
