Bespoke Architects

Bespoke Architects is a Geelong-owned practice established in 2010 by Daniel Calder and Nicole Walters, both architecture graduates of Deakin University with earlier qualifications in building design and drafting. Based in Geelong West, the practice is registered in Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia, has delivered more than 260 projects, and specialises in custom homes and renovations across Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula and the Surf Coast, alongside commercial work such as service stations.

On Lunchbox, Golf Course House sits on the 13th Beach Golf Course estate at Connewarre, just outside Barwon Heads, with views over the sand dunes across the 14th fairway. The clients arrived with a scrapbook full of mid-century inspiration, and the new home delivers that style within strict estate guidelines, stepping down its sloping site with split levels, cantilevers, blockwork and timber.
