BOARCH

BOARCH is a Melbourne architecture and interiors practice led by Christina Bozsan. Its work is driven by the belief "that great Architecture, Design and Planning should be pursued through all scales, budgets and functional requirements", with a strong focus on "a deeply collaborative client / architect briefing process". For extensions and renovations, BOARCH aims not only to add the space that's needed but "to rethink the planning and integration of the dwelling as a whole."

On Lunchbox, Casa Famiglia updates an interwar home filled with generations of family memories. Rather than wiping the slate clean, the renovation and rear extension keep the personality and stories that make the house feel like home, while a sculptural roof, skylights and sliding doors open it up to light and the garden.
