Bones Studio
Bones Studio is a Brisbane-based architecture and interior design practice established in 2015, working across homes, retail, hospitality and commercial projects. The small team brings more than 40 years of combined experience and takes "a considered approach to design, balancing simplicity, material intelligence, and careful execution." They believe every project is different, and they develop each response through careful listening and close collaboration, from briefing right through to construction.
On Lunchbox, Oxford Cottage turns a tiny one-bedroom, 100-year-old Queenslander into a four-bedroom family home, lovingly restoring the original cottage and balancing old and new. Woollahra Treehouse is a self-contained studio perched among the trees on top of a garage in Sydney, and High Tide brings the high life to an apartment in Surfers Paradise. Their Queenslander revival Daphne is on its way too.
