Brcar Morony Architecture

Brcar Morony Architecture (BMA) is a boutique Sydney architecture and interior design studio focused on bespoke residential spaces, now in its tenth year. It was founded by director Natalie Brcar, who brings more than 20 years of experience in residential architecture and interiors, including time at Tzannes Associates and MCK Architects, and who stays involved in every phase of a project. Their work spans apartment fit-outs and single and multi-dwelling housing for private clients, and more recently feasibility studies and planning for larger residential developments.

On Lunchbox, The Rose House in Neutral Bay turns a challenging site into a tranquil urban sanctuary. The two-storey house sat at the end of a charmless cul-de-sac, surrounded by '70s apartment car parks and bombarded by noise from the nearby Bradfield Highway, but it also had stunning harbour views. Taking cues from the battlements of medieval castles, the alterations shut out the noise while opening up to the view.
