Das Studio

Das Studio is an Adelaide architecture and interior design practice founded by Sara Horstmann and Dino Vrynios. Since 2018 it has grown to a team of architects, interior designers and other professionals working from a studio on McLaren Street, on Kaurna Country. Its work spans education, residential, tourism, health, commercial and modular construction, from primary schools and Royal Flying Doctor Service facilities to homes and retreats.

The practice says it sees every project "as an opportunity to unlock the potential of place, the imaginations of people and the power of community", and strives for "better processes, better relationships and better outcomes."

On Lunchbox, Garden Path helps a client move from a grand family home to a smaller, low-maintenance one, blending heritage details with industrial finishes. Heywood Ranch converts the double garage of a 1970s ranch-style home in West Beach into a lively kitchen and dining space for a family of five.
