Davidov Partners Architects

Davidov Partners Architects, now known as Davidov Architects, is a Melbourne residential architecture and interiors studio based in Toorak. Its work spans new homes, alterations and additions, heritage-sensitive upgrades, rural and coastal homes and selected multi-residential projects, in inner Melbourne, on the Mornington and Bellarine peninsulas and across regional Victoria.

The studio designs "architecture where atmosphere is the primary outcome, shaped through light, sequence, and material longevity", treating architecture and interiors "as one continuous discipline". Its aim, it says, "is not novelty, but a calm clarity that holds up to time, weather, and daily use."

On Lunchbox, SSK Residence renovates a Californian bungalow in Caulfield North that, with its low-slung roof, small windows and east-west block, had never had much sun. The new addition chases the light with raked ceilings, a sculptural roof and doors that open to the outdoors.
