Dragonfly Architects
Dragonfly Architects is a residential architecture practice on Sydney's Northern Beaches, led by architects Catherine (Kate) and Edward Seeto. It works on projects of varying scales, from small additions to large new homes, and most of its houses are in Sydney's northern suburbs, from Mosman and Northbridge to Forestville and Frenchs Forest.
The practice sees a home as "more than just bricks and mortar; it's an embodiment of your aspirations", and tailors each design to the client's preferences, budget, lifestyle and surroundings. 3D modelling lets clients see their designs while the plans are still taking shape.
On Lunchbox, Mosman keeps the classic street face of a Californian bungalow while opening up the back with a light-filled stair, second storey and pool. Forestville House is the architects' own family home, designed around natural light, cross ventilation and indoor-outdoor living.
