Durbach Block Jaggers Architects
Durbach Block Jaggers is a Sydney architecture practice based in Potts Point, with nominated architects Neil Durbach and David Jaggers. Its work ranges widely in scale, from houses and apartments to university buildings, surf clubs, commercial towers, masterplans and the revitalisation of the Powerhouse in Ultimo, as well as competitions, exhibitions and even door handles.
On Lunchbox, Sixel Miller Cottage is a new house in the Watsons Bay heritage conservation area. Working with strict heritage controls and a tight, sloping site, the design explores the language of weatherboard seaside cottages, street verandahs and simple connections to the garden, delivering a charming, bright home with a double-height living space and skylights.
