DX Architects
DX Architects is a Melbourne architecture practice led by architect Daniel Xuereb. Since 2007 its close-knit team has designed homes, residential developments and commercial environments across inner-city, coastal and regional Victoria, with expertise in contemporary houses, heritage alterations and restoration, and multi-residential work.
The practice's work "responds carefully to its context, bringing together the qualities of each site with the needs, ambitions and lifestyles of the people who will use it." It guides clients from briefing and feasibility through planning, documentation and construction, balancing design ambition with functionality, sustainability, buildability and long-term value.
On Lunchbox, Burnley Renovation creates open-plan living in a narrow inner-city home hemmed in by neighbours on all sides. Skylights and raked ceilings bring in natural light so the house feels spacious and bright.

This Reno Feels Light and Bright Despite Being Hemmed in on All Sides
If your neighbours are too close for comfort, focus on natural light. Your home will feel spacious and you'll forget they're there...
