Eldridge Anderson Architects
Eldridge Anderson Architects is a Victorian architecture practice. Its Lunchbox project, Ballarat House, makes a strong case for working with an architect rather than buying off the plan.
Designed by director Jeremy for his parents, the house sits on a standard block in a new subdivision on Ballarat's western fringe. The couple, nearing the end of their working lives, wanted a comfortable home for themselves with room for adult children and friends to stay. Unlike off-the-plan options with limited customisation, the design suits both the block and its owners, drawing on passive solar design, thermal mass, double glazing and eaves.

This Home Demonstrates Benefits of an Architect Versus Off-the-Plan
A refined and considered home in a new estate shows the power of using an architect versus buying off-the-plan from a bulk builder.
