Enter Projects on Lunchbox Architect

Enter Projects, now Enter Projects Asia, describes itself as "an unconventional architecture practice" led by director Patrick Keane. It blends contemporary, technology-driven design with natural materials and hand-wrought techniques, delivered at a commercial scale, and its recent work spans galleries, resorts, retail and airport interiors in Thailand, the Philippines and India.

The practice was created as "a gentle rebellion against modern design and construction methods" that have led to a loss of detail and a preference for unsustainable materials. It favours curvilinear, sculptural forms and biophilic design, and works across masterplanning, architecture, interiors, product design and fabrication.

On Lunchbox, The Dalmeny is an earlier Sydney project: an origami-like rear extension to a Federation home, made with laser-cutting technology and inspired by the iconic Australian shack. "Our goal was to reinterpret the old shack/suburban house, with a fresh and stylish upgrade," the practice says.

Using the latest laser-cutting technology, The Dalmeny is a shack meets tech-science hybrid solution to the generic suburban environment.
