Fabric Architecture
Fabric Architecture is an architecture practice based on the New South Wales Central Coast, and both of its Lunchbox projects breathe new life into older homes nearby.
Woodworker's Cottage and Barn was designed for the owners of timber furniture company Loughlin Furniture, whom the architects had known for years through specifying their vanities and joinery. Sharing the business's "crafted for life" ethos, the renovation turns a dark, disconnected house into a light, bright coastal home full of custom timber joinery. Pop Up House at Shelley Beach completely transforms a tired 1970s red-brick house, adding spaces all around it to create a sleek, Japanese-inspired family home with a strong connection to the backyard.
