fyc architects

fyc architects is a Melbourne architecture practice whose residential work includes homes in Richmond and Bentleigh.

Its Lunchbox project, The Full Monty, transforms a workers cottage tucked into a lane off Montgomery Street in Richmond. Once a dark, cramped two-bedroom, one-bathroom home whose courtyard felt like "a perpetual winter" despite facing north, it is now a light-filled, double-storey home for a growing family, with a new upper level, ensuite and home office, and a colourful interior.
