GSBN Studio

GSBN Studio, now GSB Architecture, is an architecture studio based in Redfern, Sydney.

Its Lunchbox project, Kingsford House, extends a single-storey brick home in Kingsford for a family with growing children who needed more privacy and quiet, and who love to entertain large gatherings of family and friends. The key move was to extend the original roofline, so the new living space merges with the old house and gains a soaring cathedral ceiling. Centred on a cosy fireplace, with a mezzanine, clerestory windows and recycled brick, it is a place for family and friends to gather.
