Hayne Wadley Architecture
Hayne Wadley Architecture is a Victorian residential architecture practice.
Its Lunchbox project, Waratah Bay House, sits high above the township of Waratah Bay in Gippsland, replacing a 1980s project home. Designed to sit long and low and recede into the landscape, it is a take on the modernist box with a strong roofline and highlight windows. The relatively solid northern facade, clad in glazed brick inspired by Escher, deliberately shields the dramatic view from arriving visitors, saving the reveal until you step inside.

The Glazed Brick Facade at This Beach House is Inspired By Escher
Designed to sit long and low and recede into the landscape, this beach house still incorporates enough fun to make it a stand out.
