Inarc Architects

Inarc Architects is an architecture and interiors practice based in East Melbourne.

Its Lunchbox project, Links Courtyard House, sits on the edge of a links-style coastal golf course on the Mornington Peninsula, tucked behind a stand of cypress trees. The single-storey, timber-clad home favours simplicity over size, leaving more of the budget for beautiful finishes. A neat rectilinear plan divides the site lengthways into equal parts house and garden, with one living, dining and kitchen space, two bedrooms, a sitting room and a garage. The house benefits from the golf course outlook, and contributes to the landscape from the course side too.
