InForm Architects

InForm is a family-run Melbourne design-and-construct business founded in 1994 by Chris McKimm, on the idea that "all Australians deserve to live in well-designed homes." Led by managing director Cameron McKimm since 2011, it has refined a builder-architect model through a close relationship with residential architects Pleysier Perkins, with each home the result of collaboration between the two firms.

A dedicated project manager guides clients through architecture, interior design and construction, promising "contemporary design and personalised service that guarantees certainty, quality and value."

On Lunchbox, Blairgowrie 2 is a timber-and-glass pavilion on a private site of just over 3,000 square metres, sitting at the top of a gently sloping lawn facing north for winter sun. It continues a theme of coastal modernity, with warm timber, clean lines and expanses of glass among native vegetation and tea trees.

Timber and Glass Combine to Create a Stylish Coastal Modernity

Timber's warmth and laid-back nature meets clean lines and expanses of glass to create a style that is sophisticated yet relaxed.
