Stonehouse + Irons Architecture
Stonehouse + Irons Architecture, previously Irons McDuff Architecture, is a client-focused studio delivering residential and community designs in coastal and regional Victoria. Led by principal architects Kim Irons and Brett Stonehouse, it has worked across the Bellarine, Surf Coast, Geelong, Melbourne and regional Victoria since 2006, offering services from concept design through approvals to project management.
The studio sees each project as "an opportunity to craft buildings that connect people to place", working closely with clients to understand their vision.
On Lunchbox, John & Kathleen's updates a 1940s Parkville home with clever joinery, and Preston I weaves elements of an old house into a renovation for a family newly arrived in Melbourne.
