Lahznimmo Architects on Lunchbox Architect

Lahznimmo Architects is a Sydney practice based in Newtown, founded by Andrew Nimmo and Annabel Lahz and now also led by directors Brad Cogger and Hugo Cottier. With more than 30 years' experience, it pairs "the depth, experience and capability of a large commercial firm with the personalised service and responsiveness of a smaller studio".

Its portfolio spans small community buildings for local councils through to large, complex educational and cultural facilities for government and university clients, defined by a deep interest in the interplay between landscape, urban design and architecture. The practice has received the Australian Institute of Architects' National Walter Burley Griffin Award for Urban Design three times, as well as the Sir Zelman Cowen Award for Public Architecture.

On Lunchbox, Haberfield House is a sensitive rear addition to a Federation-era home in Haberfield, one of Sydney's best preserved Federation suburbs, using a charcoal glazed brick to integrate with the original brickwork.
