Lume Architecture
Lume Architecture, which now trades as Lume Projects, is based in Eltham in Melbourne and specialises in homes that respond to the landscape through their form, materials and sustainability. The practice brings together Lynnsay Prunotto, an A+ member of the Australian Institute of Architects with more than 20 years' experience in residential design, and Marco Prunotto, a registered domestic builder.
Its designs follow three principles: flexibility, environmental sensitivity and experiential qualities. Homes are planned to adapt to changing needs from hour to hour, season to season and year to year, because "You should only have to build your house once."
On Lunchbox, Yarrambat Textural is a moody, sophisticated home on a gently sloping hectare on Melbourne's outskirts. Its low, horizontal form hugs the landscape, with public and guest wings curving around a magnificent Red Box tree and the owners' private quarters enjoying long views over the land.

Blurring Boundaries Between Home and Landscape
Texture takes centre stage, with dark finishes and tactile materials blending the home into its surroundings.
