March Studio

March Studio is a Melbourne studio based in North Melbourne, which describes its work as designing "the logic that makes the architecture".

Its Lunchbox project, Somers Beach House, is a home on the Mornington Peninsula that sits somewhere between a traditional beach house and a sophisticated permanent home. Influenced by the A-frame and skillion roofs typical of the area, it is split into two wings – one for living and the main bedroom suite, the other for guests – so it can be a modest everyday home that also hosts weekend visitors and the clients' extensive art collection.
