MUSK Architecture Studio

MUSK Architecture Studio is a progressive, design-confident Melbourne architecture practice, based in Docklands, providing architectural services with a focus on materiality and sustainable design, from concept, planning and documentation through to completion. Its projects span the residential, educational, public and hospitality realms.

The studio embraces the unique circumstances of each project to uncover original design solutions, refined through iterative exploration, detailed research and hands-on material exploration. Registered architect Hannes McNamara graduated from RMIT with first class honours in 2006 and has worked as a project architect for K2LD and Baldasso Cortese in Melbourne.

On Lunchbox, Echidna Studio, designed with Session Architecture, transforms a dark brick garage in Middle Park into an independent studio with a home office, a lofted day bed and sleeping area, storage and a future-proofed bathroom. A perforated northern facade keeps it private yet connected to the main house, glowing with light when someone is home.
