Nathalie Scipioni Architects
Nathalie Scipioni Architects is a Sydney practice based in Double Bay, internationally trained and experienced in architecture, interior design and heritage restoration. It combines contemporary European influences with "a restorer's eye for detail, story, flow, and possibility", aiming for great results for light, space and living on every budget. Nathalie Scipioni is the practice's nominated architect.
The studio specialises in timeless, functional and beautifully considered homes that reflect the individuality of each client, balancing contemporary design with respect for existing structures and context, whether restoring heritage dwellings, renovating or designing new residences. It also works on offices, hospitality venues and retail, and its heritage work extends to a 17th-century church in France.
On Lunchbox, Lion Court transforms a single-storey, two-bedroom terrace on a long, narrow site in Erskineville into a two-storey home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The Art Deco House in Randwick grew from a kitchen, bathroom and laundry upgrade into a renovation that celebrates the home's original Art Deco character.
