Nervegna Reed Architecture
Nervegna Reed Architecture is a Melbourne practice based in St Kilda, established in 2004 and led by Anna Nervegna and Toby Reed. It works across a broad range of scales and typologies, with place-based design methodologies that aim for unique cultural and programmatic experiences, each design a unique response to site, program and client.
Its design for the Central Goldfields Art Gallery was exhibited in the Australian Pavilion at the 2023 Venice Architecture Biennale and won the Australian Institute of Architects Victorian Chapter's John George Knight Award for Heritage Architecture. Other work includes large-scale master planning in China, a space for the Victorian Quakers Centre, and social housing and community projects in regional Victoria, Hobart and Melbourne.
On Lunchbox, Arrow Studio, designed with PH Architects, is a micro gallery and studio near Hanging Rock for a retired client: an angular, galvanised steel form with patterned timber screens. It was included in Phaidon's 'Nanotecture'.

Clad in shiny galvanised steel with arrow-like ends, this budget studio looks almost otherworldly in its country Victorian backyard.
