On Lunchbox, Anti-terrace is a renovation in Fitzroy North, completed within a tight budget and timeline for owners expecting a baby. Set back from the street and once used as administrative quarters for neighbouring social housing, the house flips the script on the surrounding single-fronted terraces, drawing north light from its front yard while managing privacy from the multi-storey apartments opposite. The result is a light-filled family home on a narrow site.
