Rachcoff Vella Architecture on Lunchbox Architect

Rachcoff Vella Architecture is a Melbourne practice based in Cremorne, known for designing bespoke residences alongside education and commercial work.

Recent projects include the Gruyere Farmhouse, which sits at the top of a hill on a 100-acre property in the Yarra Valley, with a courtyard framing views and a sheltering roof over a lighter living pavilion; Silver Linings, a bayside family home in concrete, brass and timber; and coastal holiday homes. Beyond houses, the practice has designed The Pavilion, a school facility set into a hillside, and Klaus HQ, a combined warehouse, office and showroom.

On Lunchbox, Richmond House strips a period home back to its original form, restores its details, and replaces its add-on lean-tos with new additions that make the most of a wide but shallow inner-city site.
