Shane Thompson Architects is a Brisbane architecture practice.

On Lunchbox, River Room/Pavilion for S&P House adds a new living pavilion in the garden of a Bulimba home the practice had designed for the same clients more than a decade earlier. As their lifestyle changed, the owners wanted to be closer to the Brisbane River and its views. The pavilion hugs the southern boundary to take in the river, while large roof overhangs and the garden's established trees protect it from harsh western sun and glare reflected off the water, creating a beautiful new place to live alongside the original house.
