Trace Studio

Trace Studio is a Brisbane architecture practice.

On Lunchbox, Jindalee Outlook House transforms a 1970s split-level home whose living areas had been left dark and cut off from the garden by a series of small additions, including a store room and pool room tacked onto the back. With only a minimal increase in floor area, the practice opened the home to both the front and the back. A new north-facing deck over the carport becomes the entry and a generous outdoor living space, while the rear living areas now connect directly to the backyard and pool.

A series of small additions left this home's living areas dark and detached from the garden, but Trace Studio have changed all that.
