On Lunchbox, Marianne House in Rye transforms a modest 76-square-metre coastal cabin among melaleuca trees into a 208-square-metre family retreat without losing its original charm. The cabin's warm timber-lined walls and striking brick fireplace remain at its heart, flowing into a sleek new wing that preserves the original footprint while adding modern comfort, with raked ceilings, exposed structure and a courtyard.
