Will Harkness Architecture on Lunchbox Architect

Will Harkness Architecture is an Australian architecture practice.

On Lunchbox, Lorne Hill House sits near the top of a steep hillside sloping down to Victoria's Great Ocean Road. Keeping the site's established gum trees was an important part of the brief, and the modest two-storey home is carefully designed to fit snugly between them, preserving the bush feel of the site. The clients asked for a compact but flexible three-bedroom home, with the deck and living spaces arranged to take in spectacular views of the ocean and the dramatic coastline.

Lorne Hill House is a (Beach) Home Among the Gum Trees

Architect Will Harkness placed this holiday home carefully among a number of established Gum Trees to take advantage of the view.
