Catherine Francis is an interior designer who collaborated with Finnis Architects on a family home in Melbourne.

On Lunchbox, Port Melbourne House updates a residence that began life as a local milk bar and has been renovated several times over its history. With the first storey sitting high among the trees, the living and kitchen areas open to views of the greenery, giving the home the calm of "a treehouse for adults". A light, neutral palette, lightly textured tiling and timber detailing echo the movement of the trees, while much of the original home's character is retained and celebrated.
