Studio Esar

Studio Esar is an interior design practice "rooted in emotion and mood", led by Silvia, who began her career in 2017 at some of Australia's most awarded and published design studios. Renowned for highly detailed residential interiors, the studio specialises in interior architecture, custom joinery design and bespoke furniture curation.

Rather than following trends, the practice believes exceptional interiors should evolve from architecture, context and the lives of those who live in them. It is known for highly resolved residential projects that balance heritage sensitivity with contemporary refinement, treating architecture, interiors, joinery, furnishings and art as one complete narrative.

On Lunchbox, Studio Esar selected the furniture, art and objects for Hawthorn, Bryant Alsop's renovation of Neil Clerehan's 1990s riverfront home on the Yarra, and for Chatterbox House in Fitzroy North, a playful, light-filled bungalow renovation by Nest Architects.
