Toussaint and Volz

Toussaint & Volz is a Brisbane design practice in Clayfield, led by David Toussaint and Kirsty Volz, who have collectively worked in architecture for more than 30 years. Their experience spans large, complex projects through to small additions and alterations to existing buildings.

David is a registered architect who has worked on some of Brisbane's significant civic and public buildings, and is described as a quick thinker and calm operator in any design or construction situation. Kirsty is a designer who has worked across interior design and architecture, and enjoys working with clients and communities to achieve their aspirations for the built environment.

On Lunchbox, Two Pavilion House tackles an extremely narrow 5.5-metre-wide Brisbane site with a west-facing frontage overlooking a railway line. Splitting the home into two pavilions created a comfortable and flexible family home.
