Archer Office
Archer Office is a Sydney architecture and design practice working across public, commercial and private projects, with a focus on "innovative adaptive re-use and the creation of spaces and places that foster cultural exchange and community building." Their recent work includes sports pavilions, community hubs, City Recital Hall and the Boot Factory for Waverley Council, alongside new houses. In 2016 the practice was selected for the Wallpaper* Architects' Directory as one of 20 emerging practices from around the world. They believe the best outcomes come from collaboration, with clients and the project team building "a shared understanding of the problem to inform a robust architectural response."
On Lunchbox, Bronte House adds a light-filled rear addition to a long, narrow semi and opens the whole living area onto the side path and backyard, creating outdoor rooms and indoor gardens. Camperdown Warehouse rescues a 1926 former Rolls Royce assembly plant from a botched 1990s apartment conversion and turns it into a lofty warehouse home.

Blurring Boundaries Creates Outdoor Rooms and Indoor Gardens
