Grimshaw Architects

Grimshaw is an international architecture practice whose work spans aviation, rail, infrastructure, culture, education, workplaces, sport and housing. Its purpose, "Beauty through Ingenuity", reflects more than 40 years of creating architecture that is "purposeful and in balance with nature", and it has operated as a carbon neutral business since 2020.

On Lunchbox, The Peak shows the practice working at the smallest scale: a prefab tiny house with a footprint of just 32.5 square metres, designed for Nestd, a social enterprise that gives its profits to the charity Kids Under Cover. Clad in COLORBOND steel with a double-height entrance, it is thoroughly modern, with clean lines and large glass doors that open to a deck or the landscape.

An Affordable and Sustainable Tiny House (With a Heart)
