Brave New Eco

Brave New Eco is a design and consulting practice in Brunswick, Melbourne, offering tailored services for new and existing homes. Its interiors and retrofit-driven approach puts people and the environment at the heart of every design, responding to the way clients live and want to live. The practice is led by founder and design director Megan Norgate, an interior designer, permaculture designer and sustainable design consultant, and became a certified B Corp in April 2024.

"Minimum change for maximum benefit" is the practice's mantra. It takes a careful, analytical approach without forgetting how everything looks at the end, creating holistic solutions that bring together interior spaces and retrofits with outdoor living, sustainable technologies and built alterations.
