Green Solar Designs

Green Solar Designs collaborated with Brave New Eco on a sustainable renovation in Melbourne.

On Lunchbox, Collingwood Compact shows that an eco-friendly lifestyle doesn't mean leaving the city. The project creates a compact, low-impact home in inner-city Collingwood for a family "highly committed to the idea of living well and resourcefully in a small space". The key, as the project demonstrates, is choosing high-quality materials that will last a long time, alongside measures to reduce energy use such as solar power, rainwater harvesting, insulation and shading, so the home becomes more liveable without chewing up too many resources.
