Texture Studio

Texture Studio is a Perth-based boutique design studio specialising in residential and commercial renovation projects, designing beautiful and functional indoor and outdoor spaces to live, work and thrive in. Inspired by architecture and natural environments, it works closely with a select group of professionals to find the best creative solution for every project.

Design director Jen Burgess brings more than 20 years of experience across the corporate, retail and residential sectors, collaborating with architects and builders on innovative, practical and cleverly crafted interior and exterior spaces. She has worked throughout Australia and overseas, including with boutique architectural and interior design firms. The studio's recent work includes a backyard addition with a cabana, outdoor kitchen, sauna and fire-pit area.

On Lunchbox, Ainslie Cottage in Canberra, with buck&simple, transforms a post-war, government-built home into a vibrant mid-century-inspired family home, adding colour and texture and connecting it to the outdoors.
