Matt Williams Architects

Matt Williams Architects is a Hobart-based architecture and design practice with 20 years' experience, providing architectural services to clients in Tasmania and nationally. Its motto is "From little things, big things grow", and it describes itself as "all about joy", guiding clients through the design process to a crafted, considered outcome designed just for them, with the experience of the process as important as the result.

On Lunchbox, Dolphin Sands Studio is a compact 36-square-metre retreat on Tasmania's coast, designed as self-contained short-term accommodation with a view-framing window seat. Sandy Bay Heritage Cottage transforms an 1830s sandstone cottage with an extension of just 8 square metres and critical structural repairs, and Eyrie House is a striking brick home perched on Mount Rumney, its crisp folded forms overlooking Pittwater.
